By downloading, installing, or using LaughLab ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LaughLab is a mobile application that provides AI-generated jokes in three modes: Game Night, Ice Breaker, and Quick Laugh. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate clean, family-friendly humor.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Share or distribute content from the App without permission

4. Purchases and Payments

4.1 Premium Version

The App offers a one-time purchase of $1.99 for lifetime unlimited access to all features. All purchases are final and non-refundable.

4.2 Free Version

Users who do not purchase the premium version can access 5 jokes per day at no cost.

4.3 Payment Processing

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Your purchase is subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions. We use RevenueCat to manage purchases and entitlements. Purchases are non-refundable.

5. User Content and Conduct

While the App generates jokes, your interactions with the App (ratings, preferences) help improve the service. You agree to:

Use the App in a lawful manner
Not attempt to manipulate or abuse the App's features
Not use automated systems to access the App

6. Content Guidelines

All jokes generated by LaughLab adhere to strict content guidelines:

Clean, family-friendly humor
No crude or vulgar content
No religious mockery
No harmful or offensive content

While we strive to maintain these standards, AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected results. If you encounter inappropriate content, please report it to us immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by LaughLab and protected by copyright and trademark laws. The jokes generated by the App are for your personal entertainment and may be shared, but you may not use them for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services:

OpenAI (ChatGPT): For joke generation. OpenAI's Terms of Use apply to the AI-generated content.

RevenueCat: For payment processing. RevenueCat's Terms of Service apply.

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service
That jokes will always be appropriate or funny
That AI-generated content will be 100% accurate

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaughLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Children's Use

The App is designed to be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages, including children. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
